Vagabond Butterflyfish (Saltwater Fish)

Vagabond Butterflyfish has pleasant and lovely colors on its body. It is one of the easiest butterflyfish to keep and is widely available. It belongs to family “Chaetodontidae.” Vagabond Butterflyfish, with its peaceful demeanor makes wonderful tank mates. It is found in the Indo-Pacific region, Queensland and New Guinea. It feeds on all types of food and grows up to 18 cm.  


Indian Butterflyfish (Saltwater Fish)

Indian Butterflyfish is a very handsome and attractive marine fish with vivid colors and graceful shapes. It is one of the easiest butterflyfish to keep in the aquarium. It belongs to family “Chaetodontidae.” It works well with the other tank mates. It is found in the Indian Ocean, India, Sri Lanka and Mauritius. It accepts all kinds of food and is easy to keep.   


Raccoon Butterflyfish (Saltwater Fish)
Raccoon Butterflyfish is identified by its masked face. It belongs to the family “Chaetodontidae.” It is readily available and moderately hard to keep. It is found in the Indo-Pacific regions with the exception of the Red Sea. It is usually peaceful with other fishes in the tank. Raccoon Butterflyfish feeds on crustaceans, coral polyps and algae and is a wonderful grazer.   

Mertens Butterflyfish (Saltwater Fish)

Mertens Butterflyfish is similar to three other butterflyfishes in the Chaetodontidae family. It is a native to the Great Barrier Reef, New Guinea, Tuamotu Islands and Africa. Mertens are moderately difficult to keep in the aquarium. They are not belligerent to other aquarium residents. This fish feeds on a good variety of live, frozen, and prepared formula foods with emphasis on vegetables and spirulina.
