Male Giant Gourami are aggressive fish and fight. The head of Giant Gourami is pointed having up to 10 dark bars. It gives them black and golden strip. Color changes in mature male. They belong to “ Osphronemidae “ family. They eat frogs, small fish, crustaceans aquatic algae, worms. They inhabit canals and rivers with sluggish water flow.
